The Deputy Ministry of Shipping emphasised the importance of such initiatives, stating that the successful organisation of the seminar reaffirms Cyprus’ active contribution to maritime safety in the Mediterranean.

A Commitment to Safer Seas

By bringing together key stakeholders in maritime safety, Cyprus is reinforcing its commitment to ensuring that cargo is securely transported across the Mediterranean Sea. The training aims to enhance the skills of inspectors, ultimately contributing to safer shipping practices and reducing the risk of maritime accidents.
