The Cyprus Amateur Athletics Association (Koeas) has announced that the team comprises five male and two female athletes, who will compete in a variety of events including sprints, hurdles, jumping, and throwing.
Among the standout competitors are Andreas Savva and Loukas Pero. Savva will be racing in the 110 metre hurdles, where he has a personal best of 14.07 seconds but needs to achieve a time of 14.05 seconds to qualify for the World Championships. Pero, competing in the long jump, has already jumped 7.43 metres and is targeting a qualifying mark of 7.58 metres.
