The workshop marked a significant milestone in the partnership between JA Cyprus and Coca-Cola HBC, under the YouthEmpowered initiative. Students enrolled in the JA Company Program had the opportunity to engage with senior executives from Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus, gaining insights into various sectors including sales, marketing, and human resources.
Throughout the day, the students received practical advice on essential skills such as teamwork and creativity, which are fundamental to entrepreneurship. This initial encounter is pivotal, as it often inspires the business ideas that evolve into fully-fledged student companies.
Andreas Giortsios, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager at Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus, emphasised the company’s commitment to nurturing the potential of young people in the region. He stated, “We deeply believe in the talent and potential of our country’s youth.” Through events like the Kick Off Workshop, the aim is to equip students with the necessary tools to build successful futures.
The collaboration is part of Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus’ strategy to support the next generation. It provides students with the opportunity to develop innovative business ideas and gain hands-on experience, preparing them for future challenges. With the successful launch of this workshop, the organisations have set the stage for a dynamic programme that will unfold over the coming months, characterised by learning, experimentation, and guided innovation.
