Authorities were alerted around 9pm on Friday to reports of an injured individual at a residential building in Larnaca. When officers arrived, they discovered a 41-year-old man suffering from a head injury.

After receiving first aid at Larnaca general hospital, he was later discharged. Meanwhile, police acted swiftly, gathering evidence against the 16-year-old boy, leading to his arrest under a court warrant.
