The first training session under their guidance took place on June 21 at the Green Padel facilities in Limassol. Young athletes are currently preparing for the upcoming FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup, scheduled to be held in Portugal from June 27 to July 4, 2026. This tournament marks Cyprus’ inaugural participation, showcasing the remarkable progress and rapid development of padel within the country.

Building a Competitive Future

Cyprus’ participation in such a prestigious European tournament is a testament to the hard work and dedication shown by the CTF and the Padel Committee. The national squad will include talented players from various age categories:

  • U14 Category: Charis Kallinikos, Anastasios Andreou, Andreas Lamprou
  • U16 Category: Andreas Zikakis, Charalambos Charalambous
  • U18 Category: Andreas Dimitriou, Angelos Alexios Diamanti, Petros Irakleous

Marilena Nikolaidou will serve as the mission leader and Technical Advisor for the CTF, coordinating Cyprus’ participation in the tournament.
