road collision — A 55-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a road collision in Larnaca district. Helga Tarcsai, a Hungarian national and resident of the area, suffered serious injuries in the crash that occurred on Friday afternoon.

Road collision: Details of the Collision
The incident took place around 12.30pm on the Meneou–Pervolia road. According to police reports, the crash involved a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old man travelling from Meneou towards Pervolia. Under circumstances that are still being investigated, he collided with Tarcsai’s vehicle, which also had a 26-year-old female passenger.
Emergency Response
Following the collision, Tarcsai became trapped inside her car. Fire service personnel were called to the scene and worked to free her. She was subsequently transported by ambulance to Larnaca General Hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries.
