Another key speaker is Xenia Miscouridou, a lecturer at the University of Cyprus Department of Mathematics and Statistics and an honorary lecturer at Imperial College London. Her research focuses on statistical machine learning and complex data modelling, contributing critical insights into the evolving landscape of AI.
Jahna Otterbacher, dean of the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences at the Open University of Cyprus, will also take part in the discussion. Otterbacher directs the Cyprus Center for Trustworthy AI, advocating for responsible and human-centred AI systems.
Additionally, the panel will include Odysseas Economides, managing director of Robo and HardwareX Engineering, who is involved in robotics hardware, embedded systems, and edge AI solutions across education, research, and industry.
